Healthy Banana Bread For Breakfast

Today we will learn how to make banana bread! Homemade Banana bread is a great breakfast item if you’re looking for some healthy breakfast ideas. It is a fluffy moist banana bread with a nice sweet banana flavor. You can make it as healthy or as yummy you want.

I decided to make a healthy banana bread by using a limited amount of sugar and no butter. This easy banana bread recipe is made with yogurt for some extra protein. For an healthier option I also used whole wheat flour for this banana bread.

As always you can personalize this recipe to turn it into the best banana bread recipe. Use your favorite type of flour and or sweetener. Add your favorite nuts, chocolate or other filling to the banana bread. This banana bread is very versatile and easy to make. Just mix everything together in a bowl and bake until it’s ready!

Instead of making banana bread you can also use cupcake tins to turn it into banana muffins!

Banana Bread

✿ 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
✿ 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
✿ 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
✿ ½ Teaspoon Salt
✿ 1½ Cup Whole Wheat Flour
✿ Walnut (Optional)

✿ 3 Bananas
✿ 1 Cup Greek Yogurt
✿ 1 Egg
✿ 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
✿ 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
✿ 4 Tablespoons Applesauce

HOMEMADE Banana Bread Recipe

Mash bananas with a fork until mushy. Add the eggs, vanilla extract, yogurt, applesauce and brown sugar. Whisk until combined. Add all the dry ingredients and flour. Mix with a spatula until combined. Add your favorite nuts dried fruit and or chocolate if preferred. Mix again until combined



Line up the loaf pan with parchment paper. Pour in banana bread batter. Spread out the top with a spatula. Top with more nuts if preferred. Bake at 350F for 50 - 60 Min.





Transfer to a cooling rack. Let it cool down completely before cutting.

TIPS & NOTES
✿ Feel free to add nuts, chocolate and or dried fruits to the banana bread.
✿ Best to use ripe bananas for a sweeter banana bread.
