Have you ever wanted to make your very own homemade caramel? Did you know you can easily make caramel sauce at home? If not, then today we will learn how to make caramel sauce without a candy thermometer. This is an easy caramel sauce recipe, to make this a salted caramel sauce you can use salted butter or add a pinch or two of your favorite salt. Caramel Sauce
Caramel Sauce Ingredients
✿ 200 Grams Sugar
✿ 90 Grams Salted Butter
✿ 120 Milliliters Heavy Cream

Add sugar to a pan and cook until melted.
*No need to add water. The sugar will turn into clumps first and then melt.
Once sugar is melted add salted butter and cook until the butter is all melted.
Pour in heavy whipping cream while you keep whisking.
*Careful the sauce will bubble up.
Cook until combined. Pour it in a heat proof glass container and let it cool down before use. ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿
TIPS & NOTES
✿ To make salted caramel, use salted butter or add a pinch of salt to the caramel.
✿ Caramel will thicken more when cooled down.
✿ Use for desserts, Ice cream or drinks!
