How To Make Kipcorn | Kipcorn Recept

In the Netherlands they have snack bars and they serve fries and a variety of yummy snacks. Today we will learn one of the snacks that they sell at dutch snack bars, Known as kipcorn!

What is kipcorn? Kipcorn is a sausage shaped meat and consists of chicken breaded with corn flakes or bread crumbs. It is then deep fried and served hot as a snack with a sauce.

To turn it into a healthier version I will show you how to make kipcorn in the air fryer! This snackbar snack can be eaten as a snack, in a burger or served with fries.

Kipcorn

Kipcorn INGREDIENTS

✿ 400 Grams Chicken Breast
✿ 1 Teaspoon Salt
✿ 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
✿ 3/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
✿ ¼ Teaspoon Pepper
✿ Cornflakes
✿ Flour
✿ 1 Egg

HOMEMADE Kipcorn

Cut chicken in small pieces. Add chicken to a food processor and blend until fine. Season the chicken (to personal preferences). Mix until combined.




Crush cornflakes into smaller pieces. Season flour to taste. Take a piece of plastic wrap. Scoop a spoonful of chicken mix on the plastic wrap (approx 90 grams). Fold the plastic wrap double. Use a scraper to push the chicken mix back to shape it into a sausage.




Coat the chicken sausage with flour. Shake off excess flour. Dip in the egg mixture. Lastly coat with cornflakes






Preheat your air fryer. Spray some oil in the basket. Carefully place the kipcorn in the air fryer. Flip Halfway.

You can also deep fry at medium heat for 4 - 5 minutes.



Serve the kipcorn with your favorite sauce, on a burger or served with fries!

TIPS & NOTES
✿ Season Chicken to personal preferences.
✿ Instead of grinding your own chicken you can also buy minced chicken.
