Today I will show you how to make this comforting chicken pot pie at home!

Chicken Pot Pie

Chicken Pot Pie Ingredients

Pie Crust
✿ Puff Pastry
✿ Egg

✿ 4 Cups Cooked Shredded Chicken
✿ 3 Tablespoons Butter
✿ 1 Onion
✿ 2 Carrots
✿ 200 Grams Mushroom
✿ 1 - 2 Cups Green Beans
✿ 3 Garlic Cloves
✿ 40 Grams Flour
✿ 2 Cups Chicken Stock
✿ ½ Cup Heavy Cream
✿ Salt & Pepper (To Taste)
✿ Parsley

Prep all the ingredients first.
Cut carrot in cubes. Repeat with the other ingredients.
Feel free to use your favorite vegetables.
Use fresh or dried parsley. Mince garlic




Cook butter until melted. First add the onions, carrots and garlic. Cook for 5 - 8 min until onions are fragrant. Add the green beans and cook for another 5 min. Lastly add the mushrooms and cook for 2 - 3 min. Add flour and mix to combine. Add chicken stock and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.

Stirring occasionally until thickened. Add the chopped parsley and other seasoning to taste. Mix until combined. Set aside until use.

For the top we will be using puff pastry. Roll puff pastry thinner and cut it up in squares. For the crust I am using my homemade pie crust.

Transfer pie crust to a pie dish. Add the filling. Top with puff pastry squares. Brush with egg wash.

Bake at 425F for 30 - 35 Min.
