Apple Pie Recipe
Today we are gonna learn how to make Apple Pie! Apple pie is one of my favorite pies! There are a lot of different recipes out there on how to make the best apple pie.
Today I will show you my basic apple pie recipe using a simple homemade pie crust that is buttery and flaky. Make this apple pie for a dessert, picnic, high tea or on holidays! You can serve apple pie with whipped cream, ice cream or eat them as is.

Apple Pie
Apple Pie Ingredients
Filling:
✿ 3 - 4 Apples
✿ Sugar (To Taste)
✿ Cinnamon Powder (To Taste)
✿ Custard Powder (Optional)
Dough:
✿ 100 Grams Butter
✿ 50 Grams Sugar
✿ 150 Grams Flour
✿ 3 Grams Baking Powder
✿ 17 Grams Egg
✿ ⅛ Teaspoon Salt

Beat butter until soft. Add the sugar and beat until combined. Add the egg and beat again until combined. Sift in the flour. Mix with a spatula until there is no more dry flour.
Transfer mixture to a kneading mat. Knead until a dough forms. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
To make the filling peel the apples. Cut apples in squares. Season to taste with sugar and cinnamon.
Knead dough a little to soften. Roll dough out approx. 2mm thick. Brush mold with a thin layer of butter. I am using a 6 inch mold which makes 2 medium sizes apple pies.
Carefully transfer the dough. Press down the sides and bottom. Add some bread crumbs on the bottom. This will adsorb the extra moisture. Add the apples. Cut out strips for the top. Place strips on top and trim off the edges.
Bake at 350F 60 - 70 Min. Cool down completely in the mold.
