Homemade Candied Nuts Recipe
One of my favorite snacks to have during movie night besides popcorn are candied nuts, in this case sugar roasted cashews! Today we will learn how to make candied cashews! Homemade sugar coated cashews are super simple to make. Since it’s the holiday season we will add a twist to our candied nuts. Add a pinch of cinnamon to the candied cashews for extra flavor! Make these sugar coated nuts to snack on or add them to your trail mix!

Candied Cashew Nuts
Candied Cashew Nuts Ingredients
🎄 1 Cup Sugar
🎄 ⅓ Cup Water
🎄 2 Cups Cashews
🎄 Optional: Cinnamon

Add sugar and water to a non stick pan. Heat over medium heat. Cook until sugar melts and small bubble forms. Ones bubble forms add the cashews. Stir to coat the cashews with the sugar.
The sugar will clump up and wrap around the cashews.
You can either stop cooking here or cook it longer for the sugar to melt more and caramelize.
Transfer the coated cashews to a sheet of parchment paper and separate the nuts right away.
Let it cool down completely before consuming!

TIPS & NOTES
✿ You can replace the cashew with other nuts.
✿ Cinnamon is optional.
✿ Store in an air tight container
✿ Don’t use high heat or the sugar will burn.
