For All Red Bean And Matcha Lovers, we will be learning how to make red bean and matcha popsicles. Matcha is also known as green tea and pairs well with red bean.

Are you having a hard time to pick between matcha ice cream or red bean ice cream? No need to worry. Today we will combine matcha and red beans together to make Matcha Red Bean Ice Cream Bar! 抹茶紅豆冰棒 They are not only tasting good on their own, but are also a great match together.

Green Tea Red Bean Popsicles | 抹茶紅豆冰棒

Ingredients

Red Bean Ice Cream:
✿ 1 Cup Heavy Cream
✿ ½ Cup Milk
✿ 1 Cup Red Bean Paste
✿ 2 - 3 Tablespoon Condensed Milk

Matcha Ice Cream:
✿ 1 Cup Heavy Cream
✿ 200 Grams Condensed Milk
✿ ¼ Cup Hot Milk
✿ 2 Tablespoons Matcha Powder

How to Make Red Bean Ice Cream:

For the red bean ice cream we need to make some red bean paste. To learn how to make homemade red bean paste click HERE.




Add all the Red Bean Ice Cream ingredients together and mix until combined. Set aside while making the Matcha Ice Cream


How To Make Matcha Ice Cream:

Mix the matcha powder with hot milk and stir until clump free. *Strain matcha mixture if necessary

Add matcha mixture to the condensed milk and combine well.



Whip up heavy cream until soft peaks using a whisk or a hand mixer.






Add the condensed milk - matcha mixture and fold it in until well combined.





Time to fill the mold with ice cream!
Use your favorite ice cream molds. Fill half of it with matcha ice cream and half of it with red bean ice cream.

*Pour leftover ice cream in a mold for extras!




Freeze at min 8 hours or overnight!

When ready it’s time to unmold and have some popsicles!

✿ Pour leftover ice cream in a mold, to serve as ice cream!
