The Perfect Fluffy Rice On A Stovetop
If you don’t have a rice cooker or your rice cooker stopped working. You might be wondering how to make rice. In today’s short video I will show you how easy it is to make the perfect rice on stove top.
To learn how to make rice without a rice cooker, all you need is a pot, rice and water! I used Jasmine rice for mine. If using different kinds of rice the measurements might be slightly different.

Stoverop Rice
SStovetop Rice Ingredients
✿ 1 Cup Jasmine rice
✿ 1 Cup Water
Stovetop Rice INSTRUCTIONS | Click here for the recipe video
*The rice I am using for this recipe is Jasmine rice.
Optional: Wash the rice.
Add rice and water to a pan and bring it to a boil. Once boiling give it a quick stir.
Place the lid on top and turn down the heat to simmer. Let the rice simmer for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes turn off the heat and let the rice rest for 5 minutes. Don’t remove the lid yet!
When rice is done fluff it up and it’s ready to serve!

TIPS & NOTES
✿ This recipe works great for Jasmine rice. If using different kind of rice the water & rice ratio may differ.
✿ While simmering and resting the rice DON’T open the lid.
