Use your favorite cut of steak. I prefer skirt steak. You can also use round and bottom steak to make this beef jerky.
Slice it in thin strips. Remove excess fat if preferred.
*Slice in an angle.
Marinate the beef. Add red pepper flakes for a spicy version. *Adjust seasoning to personal preferences.
Let it marinate overnight in the fridge.
The next day
Place the beef on wire racks. Place a fan on the side and let it fan dry for 4 - 8 hours depending on the size/strength of the fan. Beef jerky is ready fan drying when the top is dry.
When dry transfer them to the oven. Cook in the oven at 180F for 2 - 3 hours. Open the oven door once in a while to let the steam out. Take out when ready.
Enjoy! (◠‿◠✿)
TIPS & NOTES
