How To Make Korean Pancake 야채전

Today we will be making one of my favorite pancakes. Korean vegetable pancake! In Korean Yachaejeon 야채전.

I will show you how easy it is to make the Korean pancake batter for these vegetable pancakes. You can use your own favorite ingredients for this Korean style vegetable pancakes or you can even add some meat or seafood to it.

Yachaejeon is a great pancake to make as a snack or serve it on the side with other dishes.

Yachaejeon (야채전) | Korean Vegetable Pancake

Ingredients

✿ 2½ Cups Vegetables
✿ ½ Cup All Purpose Flour
✿ ½ Cup Rice Flour
✿ 1 - 2 Tablespoons Gochujang (Optional)
✿ 1 Cup Water
✿ Oil

Cut 2 cups of vegetables of your own choice.














Add all the ingredients for the korean pancake batter to the cut vegetables.



Mix well until everything is combined











Add some oil to a nonstick pan. Spread the korean pancake mix out in the pan and cook until golden brown and crispy.

TIPS & NOTES
✿ Adding rice flour to the pancake batter results in crispier pancakes. You can replace the rice flour with all purpose flour if preferred.
✿ Gochujang is optional. I like to add it for some spiciness.
✿ Add generous amount of oil for a crispier pancake.
✿ Also very yummy with some meat or seafood. ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿
