Today we will learn how to make a 3 ingredients sourdough discard recipe! Recently I have been making my own sourdough bread which gives me a lot of sourdough discards. Did you know that you can use the sourdough discard to make homemade sourdough crackers and this way you don't have to throw it away!

Let’s learn how to make sourdough crackers with sourdough discard!

Sourdough crackers are thin, crispy and have a slight sour taste from the sourdough discard. Once you know how to make these easy crackers you can make different flavors! For today we will make a cinnamon sugar flavored cracker. Some other great flavors you can also make are parmesan, italian herbs or everything bagel seasoning! Be as creative as you want.

Sourdough Discard Cracker

Sourdough Discard Cracker Ingredients

✿ 1 Cup Flour Of Choice
✿ 1 Cup Sourdough Discard
✿ 4 Tablespoons Butter
✿ Sugar & Cinnamon (To Taste)

Mix All The Ingredients

Knead Until Dough Forms.

Roll Thin

Cut In Desired Shapes.

Bake

Bake 350F | 20 -25 Min.

Combine all the ingredients for the sourdough crackers together. Knead until a dough forms. Use your favorite seasoning for your crackers. For mine I used cinnamon and sugar.

Once dough forms wrap in plastic and refrigerate for at least 30 min.



Roll the dough out in approx. 2mm thick or until desired cracker thickness. Poke holes with a fork.

Cut crackers in preferred sizes and or shapes.




Bake at 350F for 20 - 25 min or until crispy.

TIPS & NOTES
✿ Adjust seasoning to personal preferences. You can make sweet and savory versions.
✿ Baking time depends on thickness of the crackers.
