Today we will learn how to make crispy shrimp balls! For this dim sum shrimp ball recipe we will be using spring roll wrappers skin to make a crispy outside! If you have spring roll wrappers left or looking for a simple appetizer, this is a great way to use the spring roll wrappers.
We will make a simple shrimp filling but feel free to use other meat and or seafood. Make these shrimp balls as an appetizer or to snack on. Since the World Cup is starting soon, this egg roll dimsum shrimp recipe can be an alternative yummy snack to make while watching the game!

Dim Sum Shrimp Balls
Dim Sum Shrimp Balls Ingredients
✿ Spring Roll Wrappers
✿ 400 Grams Shrimp
✿ Spring Onions
✿ 1 Egg White
✿ Salt & Pepper (To Taste)
✿ 1 Teaspoon Sugar
✿ 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
✿ ½ Teaspoon Sesame Oil

Cut spring roll wrappers in strips. Loosen to separate the wrappers.
Make the shrimp paste. Minch shrimp using a knife or using a food processor. Season the shrimp paste to your personal preferences.
Take about 1 tablespoon of shrimp paste and roll/coat it with the spring roll wrappers. Tightly press together to make it stick.
Heat up a pan with enough oil on medium heat. Deep fry shrimp balls until golden brown and crispy.
Serve hot with your favorite sauce.
