Sesame Twist | 炸麻叶
Sesame Twist Ingredients
✿ 200 Grams Flour
✿ 20 Milliliters Oil
✿ 15 Grams Sesame Seeds
✿ ½ Teaspoon Salt
✿ 1 Egg
✿ 10 Grams Sugar
✿ 50 -75 Milliliters Water

Mix flour and oil. Rub the oil into the flour until crumbly.
Add all the other ingredients. Mix to combine. Knead with your hands until a dough forms. Add more water or flour if needed. Wrap with plastic film. Rest for 30 Min.
Flatten the dough. Roll it out into a rectangle. Roll it out as thin as possible. Trim off edges. Cut the dough in strips.
Fold one strip in half. Make 4 small cuts, then cut it off. Unfold the dough. Carefully stretch it out a little. Open the middle. Push one side through the middle hole and pull them out.
Heat up oil 350 - 360F
Carefully add the sesame twist.
Deep fry for 4 - 5 min Or until golden brown.

TIPS & NOTES
✿ Season dough to taste. Feel free to add other seasonings and or flavoring like 5 spice powder.
