Easy Chinese Squid Stir Fry | Better Than Take Out Pepper Squid

Today we will learn how to make a squid recipe! It is a simple, quick and easy squid stir fry. Also known as pepper stir fried squid. The squid is juicy and tender, stir fried with bell peppers and onions, with a savory sweet sauce. Squid stir fry can be served as a side dish and it goes perfectly with white rice. 

This stir fry can be made with other meats and seafood as well!

Squid Stir Fry | 双椒鱿鱼花

Squid Stir Fry Ingredients

Sauce:
✿ 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
✿ 1 Tablespoon Oyster Sauce
✿ 1 Tablespoon Shaoxing Wine
✿ 1 Tablespoon Water
✿ 1 Teaspoon Sugar
✿ 1 Teaspoon Chicken Powder
✿ Salt & Pepper (To Taste)
✿ 1 Teaspoon Cornstarch
✿ 1 Teaspoon Dark Soy Sauce

✿ 340 Grams Squid
✿ ½ - 1 Onion
✿ 1 - 2 Colored Bell Pepper
✿ 3 Cloves Garlic
✿ 1 Piece Ginger


Squid Stir Fry INSTRUCTIONS | Click here for the recipe video

Cut pepper and onion in pieces. Mince garlic.

Prepare the sauce as well. ^^




Cook pepper and onions until fragrant. Approx. 3 - 5 Min.

Add in the squid. Mix to combine.

Add sauce and cook until the sauce has thickened.



Serve with rice.
