The fish is fried in a light crispy batter. Usually served with fries on the side, so they call it fish and chips!
Today we will learn how to make crispy fish by making our homemade fish and chips batter. It goes perfectly with fries to make the classic fish and chips or serve it on a burger!

Fish And Chips INGREDIENTS
Batter:
✿ 150 Grams Flour
✿ 75 Grams Cornstarch
✿ 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
✿ ¼ Teaspoon Baking Soda
✿ ¼ Teaspoon Salt
✿ ¼ Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
✿ 265 Grams Water
✿ ¼ Teaspoon Vinegar
✿ Cod Fish
✿ ½ Cup Flour
✿ Salt & Pepper

HOMEMADE Fish Batter For Fish And Chips
Season fish to taste with salt & pepper.
Coat fish with flour. Shake off excess flour. Repeat with all.
Let's make the wet batter. Combine all the dry ingredients. Slowly add the water while you keep whisking . Whisk until smooth and clump free. Lastly add the vinegar and whisk again. Dip the fish in the wet batter.
Coat with flour again.
Heat up oil on medium heat (+/- 350F). Carefully place the fish in the oil. Deep fry until golden brown and crispy. Optional: Double fry for a crispier fish

✿ Double Fry for a crispier fish
✿ Use your favorite type of fish. I used cod fish for mine.
