Assemble

Assemble and decorate!

Cut out different sizes of puff pastry stars using a cookie cutter. Brush a thin layer of egg wash on top.

For the savory version sprinkle some sesame seeds and shredded cheese on top.
For the sweet version sprinkle some colored christmas sugar sprinkles or regular sugar on top.

Bake 400F for 15 - 20 Min until golden brown.

Let the puff pastry cool down before assembling. To assemble place the biggest star on the bottom and build the tree with the smaller stars on top.

Use nutella/mayonnaise in between as a ‘glue’. For the star you can use a candy or make a cheese star. ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿

TIPS & NOTES
✿ To make the tree more stable you can place a wooden skewer in the middle of the tree.
