How To Make Beef Lo Mein 牛肉撈麵

Today we will learn how to make beef lo mein, a simple but delicious Chinese noodle dish! We will make a classic take out dish beef lo mein! It is a stir fried noodles dish with vegetables and beef.
Typically the best noodles to use for a beef lo mein recipe are thick lo mein noodles. I prefer thin noodles so I used the thin noodles in this video. Make a better beef lo mein than the restaurant versions by adding your favorite vegetables and as much meat as you want!

Beef Lo Mein 牛肉撈麵
Beef Lo Mein Ingredients
✿ 300 Grams Flank Steak
✿ 2 Tablespoons Shaoxing Wine
✿ ½ Tablespoon Soy Sauce
✿ ½ Tablespoon Cornstarch
✿ Salt & Pepper (To Taste)
✿ 300 Grams Egg Noodles
✿ 1 Onion
✿ 3 Spring Onions
Sauce:
✿ 1½ Tablespoon Soy Sauce
✿ 3 Tablespoons Oyster Sauce
✿ 1½ Teaspoon Dark Soy Sauce.

Let’s start by preparing the noodles. If using fresh egg noodles, cook noodles for 2 min. If using other noodles. Follow package instructions. Rinse cooked noodles with cold water. Set aside until use.
Cut onion and spring onions in strips. Marinate the beef. * Adjust seasoning to personal preferences.
Combine all the ingredients for the sauce
Let’s cook!
Add some oil to a pan. Cook beef until seared. Remove beef from the pan. Add onions and cook for 20 - 30 Sec. Add the spring onions, noodles and the sauce. Mix until combined.

TIPS & NOTES
✿ Adjust sauce to personal preferences.
✿ Usually thick lo mein noodles are used. I prefer thin noodles so I used thin egg noodles for mine. Feel free to use your favorite type of noodles.
