Black Bean Chicken Ingredients

Sauce:
1 Tablespoon Shaoxing Wine
✿ 1 Tablespoon Water
1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 Tablespoon Oyster Sauce
½ Tablespoon Dark Soy Sauce
✿ 1 Teaspoon Sugar
¼ Teaspoon Chicken Powder
✿ ½ Teaspoon Cornstarch

✿ 320 Grams Chicken Breast
1 Tablespoon Shaoxing Wine
✿ 2 Teaspoons Cornstarch
1 Teaspoon Soy Sauce

✿ 1 Bell Pepper
✿ 1 Onion
✿ Ginger
✿ 4 Cloves Garlic
1 Tablespoon Fermented Black Bean

Prepare The Ingredients

Cut the onion into your preferred size. Mince the garlic, black beans and ginger. Cut the chicken into bite-sized squares.

Marinate Chicken

Season the chicken to taste and massage until fully absorbed. Let it marinate for 30 minutes to ensure tender, flavorful chicken.

Mix the stir-fry sauce ingredients together, adjusting seasoning to suit your personal taste. Set aside.

Cook

Heat oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sear until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside. In the same pan, add garlic, ginger, and Chinese fermented black beans. Stir-fry until fragrant, about 30–60 seconds. Add the onion and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 1–2 minutes until slightly softened but still crisp.Return the chicken to the pan and pour in the sauce. Toss everything together and cook until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken evenly.
