String Bean Chicken Stir Fry
String Bean Chicken Ingredients
✿ 1 Onion
✿ 450 Grams String Beans
✿ 3 Cloves Garlic
✿ 1 Tablespoon Shaoxing Wine
✿ 450 Grams Chicken Breast
✿ 1 Tablespoon Water
✿ 1 Tablespoon Shaoxing Wine
✿ 1 Teaspoon Soy Sauce
✿ ½ Teaspoon Sesame Oil
✿ 2 Teaspoons Cornstarch
✿ 1 Teaspoon Oil
Sauce:
✿ ½ Cup Chicken Broth
✿ 1 Teaspoon Sugar
✿ 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
✿ 2 Teaspoons Dark Soy Sauce
✿ ¼ Teaspoon Sesame Oil
✿ Pepper (To Taste)
✿ 2 Teaspoons Cornstarch

Marinate Chicken.

Stir Fry Ingredients.
Prepare The Ingredients
Trim the string beans by cutting off the tips, then cut them in half. Slice the onion into thin strips. Mince the garlic. Slice the chicken breast into thin pieces.
Marinate Chicken
Place the chicken slices in a bowl. Add your marinade (soy sauce, cornstarch, a little oil, salt, and pepper). Massage the chicken until it’s fully coated and the marinade is absorbed. Let it sit for 15 - 30 minutes.
In a bowl add all the ingredients for the sauce. Set aside until use.
Cook
Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same pan, add the string beans and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add a splash of water, cover, and steam for 1 minute until tender-crisp. Remove the lid. Add a little more oil if needed. Add the onions and garlic, cooking until fragrant. Deglaze with Shaoxing wine. Pour in the sauce and bring it to a simmer. Add the chicken back into the pan. Stir everything together until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken and beans evenly.
