Gluten Free Pancake Recipe

Let’s continue our healthy cooking today by learning how to make bindaetteok, Korean mung bean pancakes! These mung bean pancakes are nutritious, gluten free and simple to make.

Mung beans are high in nutrients and antioxidants which makes these pancakes a great substitute. These mung bean pancakes are similar to the korean mung bean pancakes bindaetteok. This version is easier and requires less ingredients.

These korean mung bean pancakes are very versatile since you can use your own favorite ingredients. I added bean sprouts and spring onions to my pancake. Feel free to use other ingredients or add meat for a non-vegetarian pancake!

These mung bean pancakes taste delicious on their own but you can also serve them with a dipping sauce.

Mung Bean Pancake Ingredients

✿ ½ Cup Dried Split Mung Beans
✿ ¼ Cup Water
✿ Bean Spouts
✿ Spring Onion
✿ Chili Pepper
✿ Seasoning (To Taste)

Pancake Batter

Blend Until Smooth.

Pour In Vegetables

Cut Up Favorite Vegetables.

Cook Until Golden Brown.




Rinse and soak split mung beans overnight.

Add soaked mung beans and the water to a blender. Blend until smooth.










Cut up your favorite pancake ingredients. I used bean sprouts, spring onion and chili pepper. Add the ingredients to a bowl. Pour in the mung bean mixture. Season to taste if preferred. Mix to combine.







Add some oil in a nonstick pan. Scoop batter to desired pancake size. You can make approx. 4 - 6 small pancakes.
Cook both sides until golden brown.

Eat as is or serve with some sauce!
