Gluten Free Wraps Recipe | Homemade Oat Tortilla

To continue our healthy eating we will learn how to make oat tortillas today! These gluten free oats tortilla recipe can be a healthier option over corn or regular flour tortillas since these are made with oatmeal. These 100% oats tortillas are gluten free because they are made with 100% oats!

Oats have some great health benefits. Oats contain lots of vitamins, fiber and antioxidants. Oats can lower blood sugar so it will be a great substitute for flour tortillas.

You can use these gluten free tortillas as wraps, to make burritos or to replace it with corn tortillas or flour tortillas! This oats tortilla recipe is really easy to make and a great substitute to make healthier food.

Oat Tortilla INGREDIENTS

✿ 240 Grams Oat Flour
✿ 320 Milliliters HOT Water
✿ 2 Tablespoons Oil
✿ Pinch Of Salt

Mix All The Ingredients Together.

Gluten Free Tortilla

Press

Press Tortilla.

Oatmeal Tortilla

Cook

Cook Both Sides 1 - 2 Min.

Serve!

Use for wraps or burritos!

HOMEMADE Oat Tortillas

Add oat flour, salt and oil to a boil. Pour in the hot water. Mix with a spatula until combined. Shape in a ball and cover with plastic wrap. Rest for 5 - 10 Min.

Divide dough in approx 8 pieces. Roll each piece in a ball.

Prepare 2 plastic sheets to press the tortilla
*You can use plastic film as well.

Place dough between 2 plastic sheets in between a tortilla press. Press to desired thickness.




Heat up a non stick pan. Cook both sides approx. 1 - 2 min.

Repeat with all



Use oat wraps for a wrap or burritos!

TIPS & NOTES
✿ For an even healthier version, add some flaxseeds!
✿ Best eaten when fresh.
