How To Make Sweet Potatoes

Today we will make a comforting snack, we will learn how to make a crispy smashed potatoes recipe! Let’s make smashed sweet potatoes! We will be using korean sweet potatoes to make today’s smashed crispy potatoes recipe. If you haven’t tried smashed sweet potatoes it’s a must try!

Korean sweet potatoes are healthier than regular white potatoes since they have a lower glycemic index, this makes them a perfect snack! Korean sweet potatoes are nutritious and packed with vitamins and antioxidants.

This mashed sweet potato recipe is great to enjoy during the cold weather. Korean sweet potatoes taste delicious hot from the stove or to turn it into an even better snack you can smash them and season it with cinnamon and brown sugar like how I did it!

Korean Smashed Sweet Potatoes Ingredients

✿ Korean Sweet Potatoes
✿ Brown Sugar
✿ Cinnamon

Boil Sweet Potatoes

Boil Until Soft.

Smashed-Potatoes

Smash

Smash To Flatten.

Sweet-Potatoes-Recipe

Bake

Bake Until Crispy.






Wash the sweet potatoes. Bring a pot of water to a boil and boil the potatoes until soft. Approx. 30 - 35 Min.






Transfer the boiled potatoes to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Use a cup or bowl to mash the potatoes until desired thickness.

Season to taste with some brown sugar and cinnamon.








Bake at 400F for approx 30 min or until crispy on the outside.

TIPS & NOTES
✿ You can use other types of sweet potatoes as well or use regular potatoes to make a savory version!
