Tteokbokki | 떡볶이
Tteokbokki Ingredients
Sauce:
✿ 3 Tablespoons Gochujang
✿ 1 Teaspoon Gochugaru
✿ 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
✿ 1 Teaspoon Sugar + 1 Teaspoon Honey
✿ 4 Cloves Minced Garlic
✿ 450 Grams Rice Cake
✿ 1 Bowl Fish Cake
✿ 3 Green Onions
✿ 3 Cups Water
✿ 2 - 3 Tsp Dashi Powder

Prep Ingredients
Cut Ingredients.
Cook
Simmer For 10 Min.
Serve
Enjoy While Hot!
Cut spring onion in strips. Mince garlic. Cut rice cakes in desired sizes.
Let's make the sauce. Add all the seasoning together. Mix until combined.
Add water to a pan. I am using dashi powder to save time. Feel free to make your homemade broth.
Once it starts to boil add the rice cake, fish balls and white part of the spring onions.
Mix and bring it to a boil. Once boiling reduce the heat. Let it simmer for 10 - 15 min. Stirring occasionally.
Add green part of the spring onion. Cook until sauce thickens.
Serve while hot!
