Char Siu Ribs

Char Siu Ribs Ingredients

✿ Baby Back Ribs
✿ 1 Tablespoon Sugar
✿ 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
✿ 3 Tablespoon Hoisin Sauce
✿ 1 Tablespoon Honey
✿ 1 Teaspoon Chicken Powder
✿ 1 Teaspoon 5 Spice Powder
✿ 1 Teaspoon Dark Soy Sauce
✿ ½ Teaspoon Salt
✿ Red Food Coloring (Optional)

Marinade

Adjust Marinade To Taste.

Prep Ribs

Make Cut In Between The Bones.

Bake

400F | 30 - 35 Min.

Rest

Rest Before Cutting.



Let's make the marinade.
*Adjust seasoning to taste.





If needed pat dry ribs. Make cuts in between the bones on top and the bottom.

Add the sauce. Marinate overnight



Place ribs on a roasting rack
Bake 400F | 30 - 35 Min

Turn the pan around. Bake for another 15 min
Brush with maltose mixture. (Maltose mixed with water)





Rest 10 Min before cutting.

TIPS & NOTES
✿ Adjust seasoning to personal preferences
✿ Save some marinade and baste the ribs with it halfway cooking. Or use maltose/honey as baste.
✿ You can also bake the ribs in the air fryer or on the grill.
