Have you ever heard about Coca Cola Chicken? This dish has also been known as Coke Chicken, Coke Wings, and Coca Cola Braised Chicken. It was a popular chicken dish in Asia back when I was younger and I was recently reminded of it when I was watching a TV Show!

If this is the first time you’ve heard of it, it might sound weird to you but it is really easy to make and it is actually really delicious. You can kinda compare it to a sweet BBQ chicken glaze. Coca Cola Chicken Wings -可乐鸡翅

Coca Cola Chicken Wings Ingredients

✿ 1 Tablespoon Shaoxing Wine
✿ 1 Tablespoon Dark Soy Sauce
✿ 1 Tablespoon Light Soy Sauce

✿ Salt To Taste
✿ Sesame Seeds & Spring Onion (Garnish)

✿ 10 - 12 Chicken Wings
✿ 1 - 2 Pieces Of Ginger
✿ 1 Spring Onion
✿ 2 Garlic Cloves
✿ 1 Can Coke

Coka-Cola-Chicken-Wings

Cook Chicken Wings

Cook Until Golden Brown.

Coke-Chicken

Add Coke

Add Coke And Seasoning

Cola Chicken

Simmer

Simmer Chicken For 15 Min.

Coke-Chicken-Glaze

Turn Up Heat

Cook Until Coated.

Cola-Chicken

Serve!

Garnish And Serve!

Add a little oil to a pan and cook the chicken wings until golden brown.


Add 1 -2 pieces of ginger, 2 crushed garlics and 1 spring onion (cut in big pieces). Cook until aromatic.









Pour 1 can of coca cola over the chicken and add the seasoning.










Simmer the chicken on medium heat. After 15 minutes add salt to taste.








Turn up the heat to high and cook until the chicken is coated with the sauce. Keep stirring to prevent the sauce from burning.









Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onion. Serve with rice!
