Today we will learn how to make biscotti. Biscotti is also known as cantucci, an Italian almond biscuit. They are baked twice which makes them dry and super crunchy. It's a perfect cookie to dip in tea or coffee.
You can personalize the biscotti by adding your favorite flavors and add-ins. You can also dip or drizzle them with chocolate.

Biscotti | Italian Almond Cookie
Biscotti Ingredients
โฟ 56 Grams butter
โฟ 150 grams Sugar
โฟ 2 Eggs
โฟ 1 Teaspoon Almond Extract
โฟ ยฝ Teaspoon Vanilla extract
โฟ 280 Grams Flour
โฟ 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
โฟ ยฝ Teaspoon Salt
โฟ ยฝ Cup Almonds
โฟ ยฝ Cup Cranberries

Make Batter
Combine Until A Dough Forms.
Shape
Bake 350F | 20 - 25 Min.
Cut And Bake Again
Bake 325F | 20 Min OR Until Crispy
Cool Down Completely
Dip In Chocolate (Optional)
Toast almonds approx 5 - 8 min for extra crunch and flavor.
In a bowl beat butter with sugar until combined. Add eggs and liquid and beat again until combined. Sift in the flour. Mix until combined. Add your favorite add-ins and mix again.
Divide the dough in half. Shape into an oval and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Flatten until approx. 1 cm thick.
*Use wet hands to prevent sticking.
Bake at 350F for 20 - 25 minutes.
Cool down for 30 minutes. Cut into biscotti shape. Place on a baking sheet on their side.
Bake again at 325F for 20 min.
Cool down completely
Optional: decorate with chocolate
