Boterkoek | Butter cake
Boterkoek Ingredients
✿ 250 Grams Flour
✿ 200 Grams Sugar
✿ 200 Grams Unsalted Butter
✿ 8 Grams Vanilla Sugar
✿ 1 Egg
✿ Pinch Of Salt

Dutch Butter Cake Recipe
Beat butter until soft. Add the sugars. Beat until light and fluffy
* Vanilla sugar can be substituted with vanilla extract.
Add the egg and beat again until smooth. Sift in the flour. Combine with a spatula until incorporated.
Grease pie plate or cake pan with some butter. Scoop batter into the pan. Spread out the batter wit ha spatula or spoon.
Smooth out the top with a spoon or scraper.
Brush egg wash on top. Use a fork to draw a pattern on the cake. Bake 355F | 25 - 30 Min
Cool down completely before cutting.
