What is Beef Tripe?

Beef tripe refers to the edible stomach lining of cattle, specifically the first three chambers of the cow's stomach: the rumen, reticulum, and omasum. Tripe has a unique texture that can be chewy and slightly spongy, and it is incredibly versatile, absorbing the flavors of any seasoning or sauce it's cooked with. Beef Tripe Ingredients

1 Teaspoon Cornstarch
1 Teaspoon Soy Sauce
✿ ½ Teaspoon Sugar
⅛ - ¼ Teaspoon Chicken Powder
✿ Salt & Pepper (To Taste)

✿ 200 Grams Beef Tripe
✿ 2 Spring Onion
✿ Piece Of Ginger
✿ Minced Garlic
✿ Red Chili Pepper

Blanch Beef Tripe

Blanch And Par Boil Beef Tripe.

Steamed Beef Tripe Ingredients

Prepare Ingredients

Cut Ingredients And Make Sauce.

Steam Beef Tripe

Steam 10 On Medium Heat.


Let’s prepare the beef tripe first. Wash beef tripe thoroughly
with water and salt before blanching.

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the beef trip and blanch for 2 - 3 Min. After place beef tripe in ice water.

*If beef tripe hasn't been par boiled. Boil until tender.

Cut the beef tripe in half. Turn beef trip horizontal and cut against the layers in small strips. Cut ginger in strips and mince garlic.

In a bowl add the beef tripe, spring onion, Ginger, garlic and seasoning. Mix until combined.

*Adjust seasoning to taste.

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Place the bowl inside.
Steam on medium heat for 10 Min.

Delicious served with rice. ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿

TIPS & NOTES
✿ Depending on the store some beef tripes are par boiled. If you buy beef tripe that hasn’t been par boiled the beef tripe will be tough. Par boil the beef trip at home until tender.
