Tomato Soup
Tomato Soup Ingredients
✿ 1 Onion
✿ 2 Garlic Cloves
✿ 1 Tablespoon Butter
✿ 1 Teaspoon Thyme
✿ 2 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
✿ 2 Cans Tomatoes
✿ 4 Cups Water
✿ Seasoning (To Taste)
✿ ¼ Cup Heavy Cream.

Prep Ingredients
Cut Ingredients.
Simmer
Simmer Soup For 20 Min.
Blend
Blend Until Desired Texture.
Cut onions in strips and mince the garlic.
Heat up a pan and add the butter. Once butter is melted add the onions and garlic. Saute for +/- 10 Min.
Add thyme and tomato paste. Mix until combined and cook for approx. 5 min. Add in the canned tomatoes, bayleaf and water/broth. Give it a quick mix. Then bring it to a boil.
Season to taste. I added some sugar to bring out the flavors.
Simmer for 45 Min.
Blend the soup using an immersion blender or a regular blender. Add heavy cream and mix.
Season to taste with salt/pepper and or other dried herbs
Delicious to Serve with a grilled cheese! ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿
TIPS & NOTES
✿ You can use fresh tomatoes as well! If using fresh tomatoes roast them in the oven.
✿ Season to taste with salt.
