*Use leftover rice or rice made the day before. It’s best to use chilled rice for this recipe. I won’t recommend using fresh steamed rice. Use enough rice for 1 -2 servings.
Cut your favorite ingredients for your fried rice. I used shrimp and chinese sausage for mine.
Add enough oil to a wok or non stick pan. Stir fry the chinese sausage (meat) first. Then add the shrimp (seafood) and cook for 2 -3 minutes. Add the rice and cook until the rice is hot. When hot mix in the eggs. Lastly add the spring onion and season to taste. Cook until all mixed.
Serve while HOT! ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿
TIPS & NOTES
✿ It’s best to use cold rice. If using fresh steamed rice the fried rice will turn out sticky and wet.
✿ You can add the egg before adding the rice or after adding the rice. If you’d like the egg to wrap around the rice, add the egg once the rice is hot.
