Thanksgiving stuffing is one of the must have recipes you need for a thanksgiving dinner! You can find different types and flavors of easy stuffing at the stores. For pre-mixed thanksgiving stuffing you can just add water and your stuffing is ready. Did you know that homemade stuffing from scratch is actually really easy to make. Or have you ever wondered how to make stuffing ? You can turn your homemade stuffing into the best thanksgiving stuffing since you can pick your own ingredients.

I love adding more vegetables to my thanksgiving stuffing, so in this video you will see that I use more vegetables than the usual thanksgiving stuffing. Feel free to adjust the ingredients to your personal preferences to turn it into the best stuffing!

You can use this stuffing to serve on the side or use it to stuff your turkey!

Thanksgiving Stuffing

Thanksgiving Stuffing Ingredients

✿ Bread
✿ Vegetables
✿ Butter
✿ ½ - 1 Cup HOT Water / Chicken Stock
✿ Chicken Powder
✿ Herbs & Seasoning
✿ Optional: Cranberries

Make Bread Crumbs

15 - 20 Min until Crispy.

Prepare Vegetables

Cut Vegetables.

Cook The Stuffing.

Let’s first make some toasted bread. Use your favorite type of bread. Cut bread into squares. Place the bread into a bowl. Add 2 -3 tablespoons of oil and season the bread cubes to taste. Spread bread out on a baking sheet. Bake at 400F for 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Set aside until use.



Prepare your favorite vegetables for the stuffing. Amount of vegetables depends on personal preferences. I like a lot of vegetables in my stuffing ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿. For mine stuffing I used leeks, onions, corn and bell peppers.




Add about 1 -2 tablespoons butter to a pan. Start cooking the vegetables. When vegetables are cooked add desired amount of toasted bread. Add ½ - 1 Cup HOT Water or Chicken Stock (enough to soak the bread). If using water you can add some chicken powder if preferred. Cook until bread soaked up all the liquid.

Your stuffing is now ready to use for stuffed turkey or chicken! Or bake it in the oven and serve it as a side dish. Bake at 400F for 10 Min or until top is golden brown.

TIPS & NOTES
✿ Bread and vegetable ratio can be adjusted to personal preferences.
✿ If you like your stuffing more fluffy mix and egg into the stuffing before baking.
✿ Feel free to use store bought bread crumbs.
