Red Bean Steamed Buns 豆沙包

✿ 300 Grams Special Bun Flour
✿ 2.5 Grams Instant Yeast
✿ 10 Grams Sugar
✿ 14 Grams Condensed Milk
✿ 5 Grams Oil
✿ 165 - 170 Milliliters Water

Make Red Bean Paste Filling.

Prepare Dough.

Divide Dough

Cut Dough In Equal Pieces.

Fold In Red Bean Paste

Steam

Steam Buns 10 Minutes.



Let's make red bean paste. To save some time you can also buy premade red bean paste.




Let's make the dough! Add all the ingredients to a stand mixer. Attach dough hook.

Mix on low speed for 8 minutes. You could also knead by hand. Shape the dough in a ball. Let it rest for 15 minutes.




Divide the dough in 10 - 12 equal pieces. Shape them into a ball.

Press the ball to flatten. Use a rolling pin to roll the edges thin while keeping the middle thick.



Add red bean paste in the middle. Close the bun.
Rest for 15 Min. Buns are ready to steam when they bounce back after pressing them.






Steam on high heat for 10 Min.
Buns are best eaten when hot! ✿◕ ‿ ◕✿
