Homemade Marzipan Coated With Chocolate | DIY Valentine Treat ❤️

Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate because we can make so many valentine day recipes! For me valentines day has always been about expressing your feelings to your loved ones through various treats! There’s so many valentine desserts to try that it's hard to pick. If you’re looking for a valentine's day gift idea to make for your loved one. What is more special than some diy valentines day treats.

Today we will learn how to make some valentines day sweets. We will be making marzipan coated with chocolate! It’s a marzipan recipe with almond flour. To make it more valentines themed we will be coating them with a thin layer of chocolate and decorating them with valentine’s sprinkles!

Even if you are not celebrating valentines, these 4 ingredients valentines treats don’t need to be made for valentines. You can also make these almond flour marzipan pops on a regular day to snack on!

Marzipan With Chocolate Ingredients

✿ 1 Cup Almond Flour
✿ 1½ Cup Powdered Sugar
✿ Almond Extract
✿ 2 - 4 Tablespoon Water
✿ White Chocolate Or Candy Melt
✿ Sprinkles

Make Marzipan

Process Until Crumbly.

Shape

Press Marzipan In The Mold.

Valentine-Treats-Chocolate

Dip In Chocolate

Dip In Melted Chocolate Or Candy Melt.

Chocolate-Marzipan.

Decorate

Decorate With Your Favorite Toppings.


To make the marzipan add almond flour and powdered sugar to a food processor. Pulse blend until a fine powder or desired consistency.

Add almond extract and water in batches and pulse blend until crumbly.



Take some marzipan and press marzipan in the mold.
Stick in the popsicle sticks.

Refrigerate for 1 hour.





Melt some chocolate or candy melt. Dip the marzipan in the chocolate and shake off the excess chocolate. Place them on parchment paper and let it set.




It’s time to decorate! I decorated mine with melted chocolate and valentines sprinkles!

TIPS & NOTES
✿ If you don’t have a food processor, you can use a blender as well.
✿ You can adjust the powdered sugar and almond flour ratio to your personal preferences.
✿ If you don’t have popsicle molds, you can shape it by hand as well.
